Your Daily Motivation

The Seed To Success Is In Your Imagination

Visualize all the things that you want in life. Then make your mental blue print,
and begin to build. Your imagination can show you how to turn your possibilities into reality.

You must make every thought, every fact, that comes into your mind pay you a profit. Make those mental images work and produce for you.

Think of things not as they are but as you want them to be. Don't just dream, be creative.

The will to succeed springs from the knowledge that you can succeed

New Hobby

I have always always wanted to try to tattoo, I mean well I have several so why not try to do one myself. I have kept in mind that one day I would have a chance to try it! Well it just so happens that about a week ago I fianlly got to try it!!! I was so excitted but nervous at the same time! A old friend of mine that has taken up tattooing in his spare time was nice enough to let me give it a try with his equipment. He was very helpful and guided me step by step. My husband got to be my Guinia pig hehehehehe, he needed a cover up on his hand so I came up with a design drew it right on his hand then tattooed it! The symbol is Gemini, Taurus and Leo all combined which is mine and my kids signs.

JUST A REMINDER.....

This is a reminder, The law of attraction is ALWAYS working it never stops and it WILL respond to the messages you are sending it. The good the bad the ugly the miracles EVERYTHING!
As often as possiable I would like to post success storys and not to long ago I posted about a friend of mine and her struggles and triumphs ect. And how I preached to her about the power of positive thinking ect. Well here I am using her as an example again LOL ...... For about a week or two she has made the comments "well I always end up getting hurt around this time of year" "this is the time of year I get hurt" "I know I am a clutz, if I am gonna get hurt it will be right about now". Well guess what!! Yup she got hurt! And I told her stop saying that you are going to make it happen!! Well last weekend, we had a girls night out, and had a great time, at the end of the night she twisted the crap out of her ankle walking out to the car and was on the ground! She scrapped up her one knee and shin real good and has been laid up on my couch not able to walk becuase she hurt her ankle so bad! Now if thats not proof of Law of Attraction I dont know what is!! So be careful what you say and think !! Its true its true Its true

Veterans Day

Gratitude is a wonderful thing, and one thing I have always been grateful for is the men and women who risk their lives serving our country. Thank you All!!

The Sack Lunches

I put my carry-on in the luggage
compartment and sat down in my
assigned seat. It was going to be a
long flight. 'I'm glad I have a
good book to read Perhaps I will get
a short nap,' I thought.

Just before take-off, a line of
soldiers came down the aisle and
filled all the vacant seats, totally
surrounding me.. I decided to
start a conversation.
'Where are you headed?' I asked
the soldier seated nearest to me.

'Petawawa. We'll be there for two
weeks for special training, and then
we're being deployed to Afghanistan

After flying for about an hour, an
announcement was made that sack
lunches were available for five
dollars. It would be several hours
before we reached the east, and I
quickly decided a lunch would help
pass the time..

As I reached for my wallet, I
overheard soldier ask his buddy if
he planned to buy lunch.
'No, that seems like a lot of money
for just a sack lunch.
Probably wouldn't be worth five bucks.
I'll wait till we get to base '

His friend agreed.

I looked around at the other
soldiers. None were buying lunch. I
walked to the back of the plane and
handed the flight attendant a
fifty dollar bill.
'Take a lunch to all those soldiers..'
She grabbed my arms and squeezed
tightly. Her eyes wet with tears, she
thanked me. 'My son was a
soldier in Iraq ; it's almost like y
ou are doing it for him.'

Picking up ten sacks, she headed up
the aisle to where the soldiers
were seated. She stopped at my seat
and asked, 'Which do you like
best - beef or chicken?'

'Chicken,' I replied, wondering why
she asked. She turned and went to
the front of plane, returning a
minute later with a dinner plate from
first class. 'This is your thanks..'

After we finished eating, I went
again to the back of the plane,
heading for the rest room.
A man stopped me. 'I saw what you
did. I want to be part of it.
Here, take this.' He handed me
twenty-five dollars.

Soon after I returned to my seat, I
saw the Flight Captain coming down
the aisle, looking at the aisle
numbers as he walked, I hoped he was
not looking for me, but noticed he
was looking at the numbers only on
my side of the plane.
When he got to my row he stopped,
smiled, held out his hand, an said,
'I want to shake your hand.'

Quickly unfastening my seatbelt I
stood and took the Captain's hand..
With a booming voice he said, 'I was
a soldier and I was a military pilot..
Once, someone bought me a lunch.
It was an act of kindness I
never forgot.' I was embarrassed
when applause was heard from all of
the passengers.

Later I walked to the front of the
plane so I could stretch my legs.
A man who was seated about six rows
in front of me reached out his
hand, wanting to shake mine. He left
another twenty-five dollars in my palm.

When we landed I gathered my
belongings and started to deplane.
Waiting just inside the airplane door
was a man who stopped me, put
something in my shirt pocket, turned,
and walked away without saying a
word. Another twenty-five dollars!

Upon entering the terminal, I saw the
soldiers gathering for their trip to the
base. I walked over to them
and handed them seventy-five dollars.
'It will take you some time to
reach the base. It will be about time
for a sandwich.
God Bless You.'

Ten young men left that flight
feeling the love and respect of their
fellow travelers. As I walked
briskly to my car, I whispered a prayer
for their safe return.
These soldiers were giving their all for
our country.. I could only
give them a couple of meals.

It seemed so little....

A veteran is someone who, at one
point in his life, wrote a blank check
made payable to 'The United States of
America ' for an amount of 'up to and
including My life.'

That is Honor, and there are way too
many people in this country who
no longer understand it.'

Month of Thanks!

I know we are already ten days into the month and I can hardly believe it!!! With Thanksgiving this month I really want to focus on Gratitude! It is one of the main parts of The Secret and a very important one, and actually its the easiest one to work with if you think about it. Look at it like this no matter how bad of a day you have had or how shitty you feel from the flu bug you caught or how pissed you are to be standing on the side of the road with a flat tire, you have something to be thankful for, your day was shitty but be thankful that you woke up and have the air to breath and tomorrow to do it all over again, you may have the flu but be thankful you dont have cancer, you might have a flat tire and have been waiting for roadside help for over an hour, but be grateful you have a car and roadside assistance and your not taking the bus and if you are taking the bus be thankful your not walking and if your walking be thankful you can walk!! See what I am saying NO MATTER WHAT we all have something to be thankful for everyday in every way! So In your blogs or in your thoughts, all this month make an extra effort to find extra things to be grateful for. And make mental notes how how it gets easier and easier, and how all the things you are thankful for seem to come more and more!

Habits

Your Habits Will Push You To Success

First you make your habits, and then your habits make you.

Break those habits that can break you.
Adopt those practices that will become the new habits that will help you achieve
the success you desire.

Your habits are a form of exercise.
The harder you work at something, the harder it is to quit.
The easier it is to do, the harder it is to change.

Your habits are either the best of servants or the worst of masters.
You are what you repeatedly do.

Hump Day

It has been a hard few days The Secret that i love so dearly has slipped away from me. I am not happy with myself over it. Time to get over the hump and love life again, I am so thankful for all my friends and family and everything that I have in my life and everything that I am going to have in my life.

People who live only for dessert, Kelly, very rarely enjoy the main course.

And sometimes a meal is like life.

Dia de los Muertos

Dia de los Muertos translated to "Day of the Dead"

The holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died. The celebration occurs on November 1st and 2nd in connection with the Catholic holiday of All Saints' Day which occurs on November 1st and All Souls' Day which occurs on November 2nd. Traditions include building private altars honoring the deceased, using sugar skulls, marigolds, and the favorite foods and beverages of the departed, and visiting graves with these as gifts.
Many people believe that during the Day of the Dead, it is easier for the souls of the departed to visit the living. People go to cemeteries to communicate with the souls of the departed, and build private altars, containing the favorite foods and beverages, as well as photos and memorabilia, of the departed. The intent is to encourage visits by the souls, so that the souls will hear the prayers and the comments of the living directed to them.
A common symbol of the holiday is the skull (colloquially called calavera), which celebrants represent in masks, called calacas (colloquial term for "skeleton"), and foods such as sugar or chocolate skulls, which are inscribed with the name of the recipient on the forehead. Sugar skulls are gifts that can be given to both the living and the dead. Other holiday foods include pan de muerto, a sweet egg bread made in various shapes, from plain rounds to skulls and rabbits, for celebrating this "fiesta" often decorated with white frosting to look like twisted bones.

Yesterday we honored those who have past in our family, mainly my grandmother, the was the matriarch of our family, she has been gone almost 11 years and is still missed very much. She was a kind woman and would give you the shirt off her back, we often would have to tell her it is not safe to pick up random strangers walking down the street and give them rides just because she felt bad for them! But at the same time you dare not cross her, she always wore high heels and was not afraid to use them as a weapon if need be, for that matter she had guns that she wasn't afraid to use either LOL She was somewhat of a gypsy, it seemed like she was always moving, but I think it was only so she had an excuse to decorate, she was a very talented decorator and her homes were always beautifully put together, she believed in taking great pride and care of all your belongs. She was an all around very well put together woman. She always looked her best, never to leave the house with out her hair and make up down and dressed like a movie star. Alot of the pictures of her I look at remind me of a movie star. She was very well loved by everyone that new her. She loved us kids more then anything in the world and didnt have a problem showing it. We were all pretty spoiled especially us grand kids, and she raised each and everyone of us, we even all lived with her at some point or another. My daughter Grace was the only grand kid that never was fortunate enough to meet her, Grace was born 2 weeks after my grandmother passed(in the same hospital. Grace reminds me of her so much sometimes I often wondered if it was her incarnate, but I was told that Grace is my grandmother on my father side not my mothers. Last year for xmas i bought Grace a pair of fancy furry high heel slippers and they looked like something right out of my grandmother closet, and as soon as Grace opened them she said "Oh wow these are so pretty and they remind me of grandma Violet!" Which of course brought tears to my eyes but I thought how strange, that those were the first thing out of her mouth, like she had known her all her life! Christmas was my grandmas favorite time of year, not only because she loved to shop but she loved to give gifts away! I would go over to her house and sit in the middle of the living room and wrap presents for hours! She had a gift for everyone under the sun, she would even have extra gifts just in case someone stopped by unannounced for a visit. And she was no cheapskate she bought nice stuff lol! For a long time after we lost her xmas was not something I looked forward to but over the years I have got more and more excited about it, I figure that is how she would want it. And it is better to celebrate and embrace what our loved ones have taught us and memory's they have left us with rather then to dwell and be sad that they are no longer here, because in spirit they are with us everyday.
Here is a picture of my immediate family, my grandma is the elegant looking lady sitting in front of the piano. My sister(with her family) is behind her(she kinda took over as matriarch)I am at the fireplace with my mom and kids, my oldest sister by the tree with her kids, and my uncle and his family is at the table. My grandmothers husband is in the chair in the corner and a picture of my grandfather is on the wall, the mirror above the fireplace is a reflection of the shelves that my grandmother had her xmas village on, that she loved so much she kept up all year, the table my uncle is at is the actual table my grandma would set every year at xmas and the piano was hers that is still in our family and has been for many moons. The picture obviously was not taken like that(grace like i said was born after my grandma died)My bff's mom is very good with putting pictures together and she put this together for us, everyone got copies.

Ok so my daughters Halloween slumber party was this weekend, we had 12 girls total, they had a blast. We started of the night with pizza and junk food, then played a game I found at the dollar store, you put the dvd in and there's a witch on the screen and you can ask a yes or no question and get an answer, ofcourse all they wanted to know about was boys boys boys! So then we had a ball in the cup contest LOL then hot potato then lite and a feather stiff as a board then bloody mary then they told scary stories then they watched Orphan and then the highlight of the night was the seance I pulled out all the stops they thought it was awesome, the girls were all whispering 'is your mom really a witch?' LOL Then they played with my homemade 'witches board' for awhile and then we tried to watch Halloween 4 but they were to scared so we just turned on Disney channel and they all finally passed out around 3:30 am!
