Happy Tears

I have shed alot of tears over the last couple months over various things that may have been effecting me in one way or another. i am not usually a cry baby ever but the last few months it seemed as thow the tears came easily. Crying doesnt always have to be a bad thing. Today I have shed some tears, but not over anything that is effecting me in anything way other then love. They were tears of joy; I am surrounded by amazing people. My family.... I have a husband that has such a good heart he is helping a complete stranger have just a little bit of an easier life this winter. Him and I have had our differance and i wanna punch his lights out sometimes but he is a good man and has so much love to give. I have a 17 year old son that is still his mommas boy, he helps take care of me and waits on me hand and foot if he needs to , with no complaints, most 17 year olds only give a shit about their friends and partying. I have a 13 year old daughter that is more mature and responsable then most 30 year olds I know, she is your typical girly girl with her hair and make up and clothes and shoes and the mall OMG lol But thats one of the reasons I adore her. She like her father has a heart of gold and would bend over backwords for anyone, also like her brother she helps to take care of her momma and has become a very good cook in the process. I will brag all day about my family and I am sure complain too LOL I have a group of Ya -Ya's (aka friends) that are the most Loving, understanding, and giving people I have ever known. Then I have all these extended family members and friends that I dont get to see very often, but I know they are out there and the love is there no matter how near or far away. What more could I ask for. Everyday shoukd bring a new reason to be happy and so happy that it can bring a tear to your eye Look for it, it is there! Reminds me of a quote by a very wise man. Prof. A. Dumbledore, “ happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light”

Happy music

Music helps alot with your mood and can be very uplifting, when your feeling down it can help (and certainly cant hurt so its worth a try)to play some "happy" music. So an idea is to put together some playlist of your favs that you know will help get rid of your gloom. Songs that make you smile and shake your tail feather LOL!

Inspired by my Ya-Ya to have a seasonal playlist and since spring has sprung here is my spring and maybe into summer playlist(some newer some oldies but goodies):













I am haveing a creative block LOL but I am sure there will more to come!!

Witches Brew Wine, Can be found in most major retail chains at this time of year!



Bloody Mary's
its also a very Ya ya type drink!



Vampire Ale, I only saw this once and havent been able to find it again but it looks interesting.



And last but not least Butter Beer!
Heres the recipe...
Ingredients:

1 cup (8 oz) club soda or cream soda
½ cup (4 oz) butterscotch syrup (ice cream topping)
½ tablespoon butter


Directions:

Step 1: Measure butterscotch and butter into a 2 cup (16 oz) glass. Microwave on high for 1 to 1½ minutes, or until syrup is bubbly and butter is completely incorporated.

Step 2: Stir and cool for 30 seconds, then slowly mix in club soda. Mixture will fizz quite a bit.

Step 3: Serve in two coffee mugs or small glasses; a perfectly warm Hogwarts treat for two!

Here comes a check.....

I have told the story of the 8$ check I got after watching The Secret the first time. Well I am trying it again hoping for a bigger one this time. Funny thing on of my Ya Ya's mentioned it the other day but the figure she said was 12$ and then that very same day my another friend was laughing how she herself got a $12 check that same day! LOL Also, I have mention tools to help with using the power of th law of attraction, one is a check you can write yourself. I am going to print me one out and write it for about 1,200$ I am expecting a return for my corrected taxes soon so maybe this will help it along I really could use it ASAP!

Secret Tools

One of my besest Ya Ya's has inspired my blog for today. She has faithfully listened to me preach about how great The Secret is and how powerful it can be if used correctly. On the website (which is wonderful) they offer various tools that you can use. One of the tools is a blank check that you can print out and write whatever your heart desires on it. Well Dawn's hubby had an amount of money he wanted to have by the time their son reached 7 so they could enjoy a very nice vacation to Disney. Well after her twisting his arm last year, he finally filled out one of the blank checks, now he has the exact amount in the bank he wrote the check out for and their son is only 2! Mind you he was even laid off from work for awhile!! I just think this is awesome and I am so happy for them! I had forgot completely about the blank checks and after her story I went right to the website and printed myself one out!!!

Affirmation's

Definition:
Affirmation; is a declaration that something is true.

Positive affirmations are good to have around and can be helpful to get you in the right mind set. I have mentioned the notes from the universe that I get daily emails of. For Yule one year I made my Ya - Yas a daily quote jar. They can just pull a piece of paper out daily and hopefully it helps make the day go better. Dawn often sends me request for need new affirmations for her jar, which I happily oblige.
And we all know how I love my vision boards so why not combine the two. (thanks to another blogger & polyvore I had a light bulb and this is what I came up with ~>

People

One of the things that stuck out from the teachings of the secret was about creating an environment that will promote the things you want for yourself, mainly surrounding yourself with positive things and people. If you have a bunch of people that are crooks, liars, bums hanging around you, it will bring you down if it didn't already. When you surround yourself with people that are for the most part happy, uplifting people then you will be too. No one is perfect and everyone will have their moments, but if you can see the difference in what is happening in your life by the people you choose to have around you, you are on the right track. I cant say it enough like attracts like. If your group of friends sits around all the time complaining how bad things are how poor everyone is, humdrum blah blah, that is exactly what you are setting yourself up for. And if you need to be that person to stand up and say Hey! it could be worse, lets not sit here and whine, the sun is shining and the air is fresh lets just be happy, it will catch on and for those that dont get the catch its time to release them, you dont need them bringing you down.

I myself am lucky to have a great group of friends, they are all very different but we are like family and I am so glad to have them in my life. They are uplifting, supportive, and always there for each other no matter what. As you can tell I am totally addicted to polyvore(Dawns fault) so I put some sets together that represents (in my eyes) each one of them.
